What does Context Studio deliver?

Context Studio is a new tool in IBM’s Enterprise Advantage platform that enables organizations to build AI agents grounded in their own data and business processes, while retaining digital sovereignty — control over where data is processed and who can access it.

A companion product, Process Studio, was also announced and will follow in the next phase. In a pilot, IBM analyzed 1,400 organizational procedures, identified more than 1,000 improvement opportunities, and projected operational cost reductions above 25% within 18 months through agentic AI.

How is Providence Health using the hiring agent?

Providence Health System reduced the time managers spend on hiring decisions by 90% and accelerated internal caregiver transfers by an average of 12 days using IBM’s hiring agent — an AI system that automatically filters candidates, summarizes profiles, and recommends decisions.

In a parallel case, Pearson applied an AI agent verification solution for certifying and assessing AI capabilities for task-specific roles — an example of how large organizations are beginning to formally verify AI workers within their own processes.

What about interoperability and the public sector?

IBM expanded its collaboration with SAP through the Agent2Agent standard — a protocol for communication between AI agents from different vendors — to support complex multi-agent workflows across platform boundaries.

On the public sector side, IBM Consulting Advantage is now available in a FedRAMP-authorized environment on AWS GovCloud, opening access to US federal agencies that require a strict level of security compliance. FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) is the mandatory US security framework for cloud services in federal use.
